WEST NILE VIRUS

Countryside Veterinary Service recommends vaccination of your horse against all the diseases in our area, which, if your horse contracted them, would be untreatable. These diseases include Rabies, Tetanus, Eastern, Western, and West Nile Encephalomyelitis. If your horse has never been vaccinated against these diseases, we suggest you give two doses of the vaccines 4 weeks apart, and then yearly revaccinate.
