Flea and Tick Season
Although we all look forward to the warmth of spring, this is the time of year the creepy crawlers come out as well. It is highly recommended to get Flea and Tick preventative on your pet before the season begins. If fleas get into you house, it can take months to get them all out again. Bringing ticks into the house means that yourself and your family can be exposed to the tick and any diseases it may carry. Any pets that are allergic to flea salvia should be on year round treatment as well as any other pets in the house, to control the flea population. A summary of the products are shown below.
Frontline special: Buy 6 doses and get one dose free. Ask for coupons at the front desk.
If a tick is found on your pet, it is best to use tweezers to remove. Place the tweezers as close to the skin as possible to remove all of the tick. Do NOT use your bare hand as some tick diseases can be spread to humans
